Bryanston School, UK, Hockey Tour to South Africa

Bryanston School from the United Kingdom travelled with their girls’ hockey team to South Africa in August this year. Matches against Rhenish Girls’ High School, Langa Development Teams, Westerford High School, York High School and Oakhill were arranged. While the teams were in South Africa they enjoyed visits to Table Mountain, the Cheetah Sanctuary, Cape Point, Boulders Beach and Hout Bay, Robben Island, a Langa Township Tour, a boat cruise on the Knysna Lagoon and game drives while staying at the Garden Route Game Lodge. This tour gave the girls a fantastic experience both on and off the field!

Durban Girls' College Choir Tour to George

Durban Girls' College travelled to George with their choir girls in order to participate in a Choir Festival. They spent one night in Hermanus at The Whale Coast Hotel and enjoyed an evening concert at Hermanus Curro School. During their free time they visited Knysna and Buffelsbay. They ended their tour with an Old Girls Performance in Stellenbosch.

Epworth School Choir Tour To Cape Town

Epworth School travelled to Cape Town on an exciting Choir tour. While in Cape Town they enjoyed 5 performances at various schools. The group visited the famous Robben Island. The staff and students had an exciting tour.


Kyalami Preparatory School in Johannesburg sent their u12 and open netball girls as well as their soccer boys on a tour to KwaZulu-Natal. They played matches against Winston Park Primary School, Chelsea Preparatory School, Umhlanga College Prep and Ashton Ballito Preparatory School. Sightseeing included a tour of the Moses Mabhida Stadium, uShaka Marine World and some free time at the beach. The group consisted of 30 students and 6 staff members.

St David’s Marist Inanda, Theatre Tour to New York

St David’s Marist Inanda College travelled on an exciting theatre tour to New York City for 9 nights. The group watched a few Broadway Shows as well as enjoyed 3 theatre workshops with artists from New York. They also visited the AMDA Campus, the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In between all of the theatre visits they also visited the main sights of NYC, these included the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, 9-11 Memorial site, Brooklyn Bridge and the group also enjoyed dinner on the first night at the famous Hard Rock Cafe, New York.
