Cornwall Hill College sent their U13 cricket boys to the UK in June 2017. The team consisted of 15 boys and 3 staff. They played a total of 9 matches which included Bedford School, Lambrook School, Twyford School, Monkton Combe School, Kings Hall School, Westbourne House School, Danes Hill School and Newland House School. Sightseeing during their tour included Madame Tussads, the London Eye and the London Dungeon. This year they got to watch South Africa vs England live at the Lords Cricket Ground.
Durban Girls’ College travelled on an amazing Science and Cultural Tour to Europe. The 14 girls and 2 staff departed Durban for Rome, where the tour began and the group made their way to Paris where the tour ended. The sightseeing included all the main sights in Rome, in Florence they visited the Garden of Archimedes – Museum of Mathematics, viewed the Leaning Tour of Pisa, visited the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan and in Paris the group visited the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland Paris. A wonderful and memorable time was enjoyed by all!
Pridwin Preparatory School embarked on their 8 night tour to the UK on Friday, 23 June 2017. This is an annual tour for the school and once again they took 12 boys and 2 staff members. They boys played back to back fixtures and had their first fixture scheduled on the day they landed! Boys were hosted out with parents at the schools and staff were accommodated at nearby B&B's. They had time for sightseeing and a fixture everyday. They also did a tour of the Lord's Cricket Ground. On the last day of their tour they enjoyed a full day in London; sightseeing and shopping and were accommodated in London for the evening. The team departed the UK on Saturday, 01 July 2017 to return home.
St Andrew's College, Grahamstown, travelled to the United Kingdom on a cricket tour. They took 14 boys and 2 staff. Whilst in the UK they played fixtures against Malvern College, Sherborne School, Cheltenham College, Whitgift School, Wellington College, Harrow School and Charterhouse School as well as participating in the Tonbridge School cricket festival. They spent two nights in London where they visited Madame Tussauds and London Eye as well as watching a local theatre production. They ended their tour with a Lord's Cricket Test Match!!

Trinityhouse Preparatory School from Johannesburg sent 15 boys and 3 staff on a cricket tour to the United Kingdom. The touring team departed on the 25th June and they spent 13 nights touring the UK. On arrival in London, they spent a day at visiting The London Eye and Madame Tussauds, before heading to their hotel for the night. While on tour, they played matches against local schools including Feltonfleet School, Warminster School and they also participated at the Caldicott School Cricket festival. During their stay in the UK, the group spent the day at Thorpe Park, a popular amusement park, where they experienced the thrill of the rides on offer. The group also spent 2 nights in the beautiful city of Bath. On the final two days of the tour, the group headed to Lords, also known as the “Home of Cricket”, where they watched the Proteas take on England in the first Test match of the series. The group head back to Johannesburg on the 9th July, after an enjoyable and memorable tour.
