CLIFTON SCHOOL CRICKET TOUR TO CAPE TOWN

Clifton School departed on their annual cricket tour to Cape Town on the 09 October 2017. They travelled with their U14A team, 13 boys and 2 staff. On this tour they played fixtures against some of the top Cape Town schools- SACS, Bishops, Wynberg Boys High School and Rondebosch Boys High School. They enjoyed a mixture of hotel accommodation and being hosted out with parents. In between matches the team had time to enjoy the beauftiful sights Cape Town has to offer. The team returned to Durban on Friday, 13 October. 

DAINFERN COLLEGE CRICKET TOUR TO KWAZULU-NATAL

Dainfern College sent their U13 and Open Cricket teams to Kwazulu-Natal in October 2017. There were 28 boys and 4 staff on tour. They were accommodated at the Holiday Inn Express Umhlanga Hotel for 4 nights. During their tour they played T20's against Winston Park Primary School, Thomas More College, Clifton Preparatory School and Northwood School. They had some free time to relax on the beach and at uShaka Marine World.

HOWICK PREPARATORY SCHOOL CRICKET TOUR TO THE EASTERN CAPE

Howick Preparatory School embarked on a 7 day tour to the Eastern Cape in October this year. They drove down to the Eastern Cape and broke their tour along the way playing fixtures and sightseeing in our beautiful country! The school took their 1st XI, 13 boys and 3 staff members. Their first stop was in Kokstad where they played a match against St Patrick's College. They then spent the night at the school before heading down to Port Elizabeth. Once there they played against Clarendon Park Primary School followed by a fixture against St George's Preparatory School the next day. Thereafter the team drove up to Grahamstown to play fixtures against St Andrew's College and Graeme College. Howick Preparatory School then departed on Friday, 20 October 2017 for their drive back to Howick. 

Newland house cricket tour to south africa

Newland House School from Twickenham travelled to South Africa again on a cricket tour. They travelled with 15 boys and 3 staff. They played fixtures against Curro Nelspruit School, Uplands Prep School, Riverview Prep and Penryn Prep School. They had the opportunity to visit the world famous, Big 5, Kruger National Park where they stayed at Skukuza Camp for two nights.

REDDAM HOUSE UMHLANGA CRICKET TOUR TO JOHANNESBURG

Reddam House Umhlanga sent their U13 Cricket boys to Johannesburg in October. The team consisted of 12 boys and 2 staff members. They played matches against Dainfern College, St Martin's Preparatory School and Redhill Preparatory School. They had some free time during their tour where they enjoyed a fun filled morning at Gold Reef City and Woods Paintball.

Reeds school cricket tour to south africa

Reeds School sent their 1st cricket team on an exciting tour to South Africa. The group departed from London’s Heathrow on the 19th October for Cape Town where they spent 9 nights touring the Cape. Their tour began in the picturesque, quaint town of Franschhoek, where they stayed for 2 nights and played a match against Bridge House School. Thereafter the group headed to Stellenbosch where they stayed for 2 nights. The group had an incredible opportunity to encounter a variety of wild cats such as caracals, servals and of course cheetahs at the Cheetah Outreach Centre in Somerset West. Thereafter they headed off to their next match, where they faced Somerset College. Proceeding on, the group visited Aquila Game Reserve, where they spent 1 night and enjoyed 2 game drives through the game reserve, in search for the Big 5. The tour continued to Cape Town where the boys had a day / night match against Bishops Diocesan College. Despite the wet conditions, Bishops' 2nd XI team were eager to play the Reeds team and the match concluded with victory for the Reeds team. While in Cape Town, the Reeds team enjoyed a well deserved day of sightseeing with visits to Cape Point and Boulders Beach. Reddam House Constantia and Rondebosch Boys' High were some of the opponents Reeds also faced while on tour. Before departing for London, the group boarded the morning ferry to Robben Island for a tour of this historic prison. After an incredible tour, the group departed for London on the 29th October.
