Dainfern College from Johannesburg will embark on a conference tour to Tanzania with 5 of their students and 1 accompanying staff member. They will spend the first 4 days at the Conference in Arusha, a beautiful city at the foot of Mt. Meru. Once they are finished at the conference, the group will fly from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Zanzibar for 3 days of leisure on this pristine island! They will be accommodated at the Uroa Bay Beach Resort on an all inclusive basis for the duration of their stay. On the 24 February 2018 they will depart the beautiful island of Zanzibar and return to Johannesburg.
Stanford Lake College, based in Limpopo, are sending 8 students and 2 staff members on a conference tour to Tanzania. They begin their tour in Dar es Salaam where they spend 1 night and enjoy a city tour of the largest city in Tanzania. The group then head to Arusha and St Constantine's School for the next 4 nights where they partake in the Round Square International Conference with schools from around the world. The tour ends in Zanzibar where the group spend 3 nights at Uroa Bay Resort. Sightseeing in Zanzibar includes an evening Sunset Dhow Cruise, a full day Safari Blue Tour which includes snorkelling in Menai Bay - home to humpback and bottlenose dolphins and a half day Stone Town shopping and spice tour.
Sutton Valence School from the UK are sending their 1st Cricket Team, U17 and U16 Netball Teams and 4 Tennis players on a tour to South Africa in February 2018. On their arrival in Cape Town they will visit Table Mountain and spend the day on the Hop on Hop off Bus. They will play fixtures against the Langa Development Teams, Bridge House School, Edgemead High School, Herzlia High School and Fairmont High School. They will enjoy a night at the Buffelsfontein Game Reserve including a game drive! Other sightseeing incldes a visit to the Cheetah Sanctuary, Robben Island and a boat trip to Seal Island.
Thomas More College from Kloof will be traveling to Cape Town on their annual cultural tour. They will be traveling with 36 students and 4 staff. Whilst in Cape Town they will stay at Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge. They will visit many of Cape Town's popular tourist attractions including Robben Island, Table Mountain, Boulder's Beach, Cape Point, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Ratanga Junction as well as many more!!!
