Framlingham College hockey tour to south africa

Framlingham College, from the UK, sent their girls hockey team on a tour of South Africa. The tour commenced in Cape Town where the group stayed for 3 nights. While on tour they visited iconic attractions such as Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape Point and Camps Bay. Thereafter the group flew to Johannesburg and then headed to Pilanesburg Game Reserve where they spent 2 nights. While at the game reserve they enjoyed 3 game drives in search of wildlife such as lion, hyena and elephant. Then the group travelled to Johannesburg where they attended the St. Mary’s Waverley School Hockey Festival, where they played matches against other South African teams for 5 nights. Following the festival, the group departed Johannesburg for London after a wonderful tour.

HILTON college literature / cultural tour to the uk

Hilton College sent 30 boys and 3 staff members on an exciting Literature / Cultural Tour to the UK in March / April 2018. They spent their first 4 nights in London and many interesting visits were included such as the Victoria and Albert Museum, a Theatre Workshop at the Globe Theatre and the National Gallery. They also viewed the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. It was then on to Rochester where they enjoyed a walking tour before heading to Canterbury where they viewed the main sights relating to Chaucer. Following this they departed for Bath for the night and enjoyed a visit to the Roman Baths. Stratford-upon-Avon was next on the itinerary before they departed to Chester and on to Haworth where they visited the Bronte Personage and museum. Their last stop before they returned to London for thier last night was Cambridge where they enjoyed a visit to King's College! They had some time for last minute shopping before departing for home.

PRETORIA BOYS HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY TOUR TO SINGAPORE & MALAYSIA

Pretoria Boys High School departed on a 14 day tour to Singapore and Malaysia in March 2018. There were 26 boys and 4 staff on tour. They departed on Sunday, 25 March 2018 on Singapore Airlines. Each team played 8 matches in total. 2 matches in Singapore and 6 matches in Malyasia. While on tour they had some time to explore the beautiful sights of both countries. In Singapore they enjoyed tours of Sentosa Island & Universal Studios and a City Tour of Melacca. During their time in Malaysia they did a City Tour of Kuala Lumpur, visited the Batu Caves and went on a Fireflies tour, visited the Lime Stone Caves, Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si Temples. Lastly they enjoyed a tour of Georgetown. After an action packed tour they departed on Friday, 06 April 2018 for Johannesburg.

REDDAM HOUSE WATERFALL CRICKET TOUR TO KZN

Reddam House Waterfall from Johannesburg enjoyed their first cricket tour to KZN in March this year. They travelled to KZN on the 22 March 2018 with their U11 and U13 cricket boys. They played fixtures against Atholton Primary School, Crawford North Coast and Reddam House Umhlanga. They also got to enjoy the awesome uShaka Marine World as well as the beaches on the Dolphin Coast. They were accommodated at the Regal Inn Ballito for the duration of their tour. Reddam House Waterfall returned to Johannesburg on the 24 March 2018 after a vey successful tour. 

St mary's dsg, kloof, netball tour to the united kingdom

St Mary's DSG, Kloof, travelled to the United Kingdom on a netball tour. They travelled with their 1st and 2nd teams consisting of 20 girls and 2 staff. They began their tour in Framlingham where they stayed at a hotel close to Framlingham College for two nights. They then played a match against The Perse Upper School in Cambridge. Whilst in Cambridge they enjoyed Punting on The River Cam. They then played matches against Kimbolton School before continuing through to Windsor where they visited  Windsor Castle. Their last matches were against Exeter School and King Edward's School in Bath. The tour ended in London where they stayed at St Giles Hotel. Sightseeing in London  included watching The School of Rock as well as visits to Madame Tussauds and London Eye.

STANFORD LAKE COLLEGE ROUND SQUARE CONFERENCE TOUR TO CAPE TOWN

Stanford Lake College, based in Limpopo, sent 4 students and 2 staff members on a conference tour to Ghana. The group flew into the Capital city of Ghana, Accra, where they spent 3 nights at a local hotel. Sightseeing in Accra included visits to the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Park, Independence Arch and Black Star Square as well as a visit to the Bunsu Arboretum with a Canopy Walk down to the Boti Waterfalls. The group then fly to Kumasi where they were hosted at The International Community School Ghana and took part in the International Round Square Conference for 4 nights before returning to Johannesburg.

The Banda School from Kenya sent their U13 girls and boys Hockey Teams on a tour to South Africa in March 2018. They played matches against Bridge House School, The Grove Primary School, Rhenish Primary School and Somerset College. They also enjoyed sightseeing in Cape Town including visits to Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cool Runnings Toboggan Family Park and even a surfing lesson!

THE CAPE INVITATIONAL XI CRICKET TOUR TO SRI LANKA

The Cape Invitational XI team, made up from players from all over the Western Cape and Namibia, embarked on their second International expedition, this time visiting Sri Lanka in March/April 2018. They began their tour in Kandy where they were accommodated for 4 nights at the Queens Hotel. The group played their first 2 matches in Kandy against local schools/clubs as well as enjoyed a Kandy city tour including Upper Lake District, Market Square, a Gem Lapidary and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. They then departed for Galle where they were accommodated at Kabalana Luxury Boutique Hotel for 4 nights. The team played another 3 matches in Galle, including one at the Galle International Stadium. Sightseeing in Galle included a visit to the Foundation of Goodness grounds, the Galle Dutch Fort as well as some free time on the beach. The tour ended off in Colombo where the group spent their final 2 nights of the tour at Mt. Lavinia Hotel. They played their final match in Colombo as well as enjoy some local sightseeing and a dinner at the infamous Cricket Club Cafe'. The group consisted of 13 boys, 2 coaches and 16 supporters.

THE WYKEHAM COLLEGIATE CULTURAL TOUR TO RUSSIA

The Wykeham Collegiate school from Pietermaritzburg embarked on a cultural tour to Russia in March/April 2018. They departed from Durban on Emirates Airlines on the 24 March, 2018. The tour started off in St Petersburg where they had the pleasure of doing city tours and visiting some of the most exquisite cathedrals, museums and villages. The group also enjoyed a cooking class and Matryoska doll painting class! Following St Petersburg the group departed on the high speed train to Moscow. Once in Moscow the group enjoyed all the sights that Moscow has to offer - Vorobyev Hills, Christ the Saviour Cathedral, St Basil's Cathedral, Kremlin, Cosmonautics Museum to name a few. Following all the amazing sightseeing, shopping and eating The Wykeham Collegiate departed Moscow on the 03 April, 2018 to return home.   

TRINITY HOUSE SCHOOL HOCKEY TOUR TO THE NETHERLANDS AND BELGIUM

Trinity House School from Johannesburg sent their Girls' Hockey Team on a tour to The Netherlands and Belgium in March/April 2018 . The group began their tour in Hoorn where they participated in the Hoorn Easter Hockey Tournament against Hockey teams from all over the world. They then headed to Ghent for 3 nights and enjoyed day trips to Rotterdam and Brugges. The group then spent 2 nights in Utrecht before ending off their tour in Amsterdam for their final 2 nights of the tour.  Sightseeing included Zaanse Schans, a bike tour at Kinderjidk, watching Premier League Hockey and free time to explore the beautiful cities. The group consisted of 15 girls and 4 staff members.
