Stanford Lake College, based in Limpopo, sent 8 students and 2 staff members on a Round Square conference tour to Canada, however they first enjoyed a pre-conference tour to the USA. The tour began in Washington where the group spent 2 nights. Sightseeing included a visit to The Museums of the Smithsonian Institute on the National Mall (including Air & Space Museum and Natural History Museum) as well as free time to explore. The group then headed to New York City for 4 nights. Sightseeing in the "Big Apple" included the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park, a cruise to Liberty and Ellis Islands, a visit to the Empire State Building as well as a Broadway Show! The pre-conference tour ended off in Boston where the group spent 2 nights. In Boston they visited the Faneuil Hall Marketplace as well as the Paul Revere House and the Old South Meeting House as well as enjoyed a full morning tour of Harvard University. The group then flew to Ottawa, Canada, where they participated in the Round Square Conference based at Ashbury College for 6 nights before flying back to Johannesburg.


The Ridge School and St Katherine's School from Johannesburg departed on their Biennial music tour on the 18 September 2018. They travelled to Cape Town this year. The group consisting of 200 pax were accommodated in the quaint town of Stellenbosch at the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch. The tour saw them playing beautiful musical concerts at local schools. They played a total of 4 concerts while on tour. In between the concerts the schools enjoyed sightseeing in the Mother City, such as a trip up Table Mountain, a visit to the Cheetah Sanctuary, the 2 Oceans Aquarium and a wine cellar tour with lunch. All meals wereincluded and organised at local restaurants for the group. The Ridge School and St Katherine's School returned to Johannesburg on the 21 September 2018.

Winston Park Primary School sent their U13 Cricket boys, U13 Hockey and U13 Netball girls to Johannesburg in September. The team consisted of 26 players and 4 staff. They flew from Durban on the 17 September 2018 and returned on the 21 September 2018. They played matches against Kyalami Preparatry School, Dainfern College, Redhill Preparatory School and Trinityohuse Little Falls School. They had some free time for fun which included a tour of Maropeng and Sterkfontein Caves, the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre and a fun morning at Gold Reef City with a Mine Tour.
