Clifton School from Durban travelled to Cape Town on their annual cricket tour. This year they saw them taking their U14A and U14B cricket teams. There were 24 boys and 4 accompanying staff members on tour. They played matches against SACS, Wynberg Boys' High School, Bishops Diocesan College and Rondebosch Boys' School. They also enjoyed exploring the beautiful city of Cape Town in between matches. The team travelled from the 07 - 11 October 2019.
Penryn College from Nelspruit will travel to Gauteng for an U11 and U13 Cricket tour in October this year. They will travel with 24 boys and 4 staff. The teams will play 2 fixtures against Crawford Lonehill Preparatory School and Reddam House Waterfall while on tour. The team will have some time to enjoy Monte Casino before returning to Nelspruit after their quick tour.
Trinity School, Croydon, travelled to South Africa with their 1st and 2nd XI cricket teams consisting of 25 boys and 4 staff. They began their tour in Johannesburg where they played fixtures against St Davids Marist Inanda College and St Benedicts College. They then travelled to Cape Town where they played against Somerset College, Westerford, Parel Vallei and Langa Development Teams. Whilst in Cape Town they stayed at the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch and the Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge. They ended their tour in Pilanesburg where they spent the night at Manyane Resort and enjoyed two game drives and a Boma Braai.
Westbourne House from the United Kingdom will be sending their U13A and U13B cricket teams on tour to South Africa in October 2019. They will depart London on the 16 October 2019 and return on the 29 October 2019. There will be 21 players and 4 staff. They will start their tour off in Pretoria with a tour of Centurion Cricket Ground. Following this they will play their first matches against Cornwall Hill College. After their night in Pretoria they will depart to KwaZulu-Natal. While in KwaZulu-Natal they will play matches against Winterton Primary School, Treverton Preparatory School, Howick Preparatory School, Thomas More College, Chelsea Preparatory School and Felixton College. During their tour they will have some free time to enjoy the beautiful sights South Africa has to offer including the Moses Mabhida Stadium, the Shark Tank, Kingsmead Stadium, Phezulu Crocodile and Snake Park, uShaka Marine World, the Natal Sharks Board, a boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary, games drives in Hluhluwe Game Reserve and a cultural experience at Shakaland. The group will spend their last night in Umhlanga where they will have some free time to shop at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping.
