Bristol Grammar School rugby and hockey tour

Bristol Grammar School from the UK, in conjunction with XL Bundu Bashers Travel and Living With The Lions, will be travelling to South Africa with their rugby and girls hockey teams. The 84 students and 9 staff will arrive in Cape Town and transfer to Stellenbosch for 2 nights and then 5 nights in Cape Town close to the V&A Waterfront. They will play 2 matches in Cape Town and then head out to the Geodgedacht Farm Trust for the day where they will interact with the children and get involved in a project. The group then fly to Durban where they will stay for 4 nights and play a further 2 matches before heading out to the Hulhluwe Game Park. While at Hluhluwe the group will enjoy a morning and an afternoon game drive. There is also exciting sightseeing activities included along the way.

Oakham School from the UK are sending their Boys 1st Hockey Team to South Africa in July 2020. They will be travelling with 20 boys and 2 staff members and begin their tour in Johannesburg where they have a performace camp including traning sessions, gym sessions and a video review. While in Johannesburg they will play fixtures against Cornwall Hill College, St Alban's College and St Stithians College. They will also enjoy visits to the Voortrekker Museum, the Apartheid Museum and will have a guided tour of Soweto. It is then on to Cape Town where fixtures will be played against Westerford High School and Bishops Diocesan College. Sightseeing in Cape Town includes a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, Hout Bay with a cruise to Seal Island, Boulders Beach, Cape Point, Robben Island and even a surfing lesson! They will then fly to Durban where they will play their last 2 matches against Hilton College and Michealhouse. They will end off their tour with a night at Shakaland where they will enjoy some cultural activities and 2 nights at Hilltop Camp in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve for some game viewing!

Oakham School from the UK are sending their 1st, 2nd and U16A Girls Hockey and Netball teams on a tour to South Africa in July 2020. Their tour begins in Johannesburg where they will stay at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria for 3 nights. They will spend their first 2 days doing traning sessions while at the High Performance Centre. They will then play Hockey and Netball matches against St Mary's Waverley followed by Netball matches against St Peter's College. A visit to the Apartheid Musuem and a guided tour of Soweto has been included. Following this they fly to Cape Town where they will play 3 hockey and 2 netball matches against local schools. Sightseeing in Cape Town includes a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, Robben Island, Hout Bay with a cruise to Seal Island, Boulders Beach, Cape Point and even tobogganing at the Cool Runnings Toboggan Family Park! It is then on to Durban where they will play netball matches against Danville Girls' High School and St Anne's Diocesan College and hockey matches against St John's DSG and St Anne's Diocesan College. They will end off their tour with a night at Shakaland including cultural activities, and 2 nights at Hilltop Camp in the Hluhluwe-Imflozi Game Reserve to enjoy some game viewing!

Oakham School from the UK are sending their U15A Rugby Team on a tour to South Africa in July 2020. They begin their tour in Johannesburg where they will spend 3 nights at Konka. While at Konka, they will have training sessions, play their first match and enjoy an activities program. It is then on to Johannesburg where they will play a match against St Alban's College and enjoy sightseeing visits to the Apartheid Museum, a guided tour of Soweto and a stadium tour of Loftus Versveld. Following this they will travel to the Pilanesberg National Park where they will stay for 2 nights and enjoy some game viewing. They will also spend at night at Sun City before heading to Pretoria where they will play against Pretoria Boys High School. It is then off to Bloemfontein where they play against Grey College Bloemfontein before flying to Cape Town. Their final fixture will be against Bishops Diocesan College. Sightseeing in Cape Town includes a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, Robben Island, Hout Bay with a cruise to Seal Island, Boulders Beach, Cape Point and the Two Oceans Aquarium.

Oakham School from the UK are sending their 1st XV and 2nd XV on a tour to South Africa in July 2020. They start their tour in KwaZulu-Natal where they will stay at Maritzburg College for 2 nights. They will have a few training sessions before their first match against Maritzburg College. They will enjoy some sightseeing in the Midlands and Durban area including visits to the Howick Falls, the Mandela Capture Site and uShaka Marine World & Wet 'n Wild. They then head to Vryheid and Pionier High School where they will play their next match. Following this they travel to Springbok Lodge in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve where they will spend 2 nights and enjoy some game viewing! They will then fly to Cape Town where they will play their final matches against Paarl Boys' High School and Bishops Diocesan College. Sightseeing in Cape Town includes a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, visits to Hout Bay with a cruise to Seal Island, Boulders Beach, Cape Point, Robben Island and a surfing lesson!

Sherborne Girls School from the UK will be sending their U16 Hockey and Netball girls on tour to South Africa in July 2020. They will depart on Sunday, 12 July 2020 and return on Sunday, 26 July 2020. There will be 24 girls and 5 staff on tour. They will start their tour in Cape Town where they will play matches against Fairbairn College, Bridge House School and Langa Development Teams. During their time in Cape Time they will have some free time to explore the beautiful sights of the city which includes Table Mountain, Robben Island, Seal Island, Cape Point and Boulders Beach to see the penguins. After Cape Town they will fly to Johannesburg where they will play matches against St Mary's Waverley and CBC Mount Edmund. Following their time in Johannesburg they will depart to White River where they will play against Uplands College. They will end of their tour with a 2 night stay at Skukuza Rest Camp in the beautiufl Kruger National Park. 

St johns dsg world choir games to belgium

St Johns DSG from Pietermaritzburg will be sending 36 girls and 5 staff to Flanders, Belgium in July 2020 where they will participate in the World Choir Games. They will depart on Saturday, 04 July 2020 and return on Sunday, 12 July 2020. St Johns DSG will be defending their gold ranking which they received during the 2018 World Choir Games in Tshwane, Pretoria. They will have some free time during the festival where they will explore the beautiful sights of Mechelen and Bruges.
